Group Therapy

Peer Support

Living with mental illness can feel isolating. Group therapy offers a supportive space for people who share similar experiences to exchange stories, ask questions, express frustrations, and even share humour, all under the calm, informed guidance of a psychiatrist who maintains a therapeutic and respectful environment.

Some people hesitate to join support groups, concerned that they may have little in common with other members beyond their diagnosis. With this in mind, Dr Crowder takes care to form small groups of individuals who are likely to connect in other meaningful ways.

As a result, we may offer multiple groups for the same condition, with each group thoughtfully tailored to support compatibility among members. Each group will consist of 4 to 5 participants.

Take a look at the groups currently under development below and complete the form at the bottom of this page to express your interest in joining one or more groups.
